Partner, Sustainability at BIP

I am an board-level leader with substantial commercial, clean energy transition, net zero and wider sustainability/ ESG experience from senior roles across business, government and non-profit.

I am currently a Partner at international consulting group BIP, working to build a global Sustainability Centre of Excellence.

I'm also Chair of the Green Purpose Company (GPC). The GPC was set up by the UK government to safeguard the green mission of the world’s first Green Investment Bank following its £2.3bn privatisation to Macquarie, the world’s largest infrastructure investor.

My earlier career was in the UK civil service, holding senior policy and regulatory roles in the energy and environment departments, and with the European Commission in Brussels. This included working with Ministers on new policies and innovation projects across energy efficiency, renewable generation, green growth, and clean transport. I also spent time with WWF, the global NGO, leading efforts to strengthen environmental governance, and to improve ESG in business.
